Guns In Perspective

From 1985 to 1991 firearm violence went from 3800 to 5000 deaths. In relation motor vehicle deaths in 1991 was at 4900 deaths which was the first time in california history were the firearm death was above the deaths caused by cars. The passing of deaths by firearms compared to cars was not because the death of cars went down because they didn’t the death from firearms just rose faster. In 1991 out of every 100000 people 12.7 would be killed and about 70 percent was by a fire arms. Of those deaths by fire arms 60 percent where with hand guns and only ten percent was with a rifle or other type of gun. Is it a sign of rising gun violence or sign of car manufacturing hitting its limits.
