In the past years there has been a rise in motivation to stop sexual assaults that occur on college and university campuses. One popular suggestion was to let students be able to own and carry concealed weapons such as a hand gun. As a resolute a study was done with the ‘the Campus Safety and Security Data’ which is managed by the government. It used data from three states which did allow students to carry concealed weapons. Out of the three states sexual assault crimes with the ability to carry a concealed weopen had no impact on reproducing the sexual assaults. So maybe less gun laws will not deter criminals from doing criminal activities.
